SCC was accepted into the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) in 2006. AQIP is structured around quality improvement principles and processes and involves a structured set of goal-setting, networking, and accountability activities. The SCC Cabinet provides oversight for all AQIP related activities.
AQIP institutions continuously work on improvement projects which provide evidence that quality improvement is occurring at the institution. The Commission asks institutions to have at least three Action Projects active at all times. SCC submits annual updates, which are reviewed by the Higher Learning Commission.
