Glass Tapped to Lead Blackhawk Women’s Volleyball

West Burlington, IA - Southeastern Community College (SCC) has named Michelle Glass as the Blackhawk Volleyball Head Volleyball Coach.

SCC Athletic Director Tyler Gaston is eager to bring Glass on board.

"During the interview, it was clear that Michelle has the skills and mindset to take our program in the direction we want to go," he says. "She stood out for her competence and convictions regarding teamwork and success."

Glass comes to SCC from Twin Falls, ID, where she was the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach for Canyon Ridge High School and Track and Field Coach for Twin Falls High School.

Prior to that position, Glass was a student coach for volleyball at the University of Jamestown, ND, where the program became NSAA conference champions and made its first appearance to the NAIA National Championship Tournament.

Glass earned her BA from the University of Jamestown in psychology with an emphasis in coaching.
Glass will officially start at the beginning of June, but has already begun to make contacts and identifying prospects for the program.
