Meet the Coach
Head Coach - Susan Reid
Susan Reid is the Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at Southeastern Community College. She is entering her 6th season as Head Coach for the Blackhawks. Reid has coached numerous All-Conference players, All-Region Players and six Academic-All Americans, as well as being named Academic Team of the Year for the past four seasons. Coach Reid graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and English. While attending IWC Reid was the starting setter for the Tigers where they posted a conference championship and made it to the regional finals. Reid was a first team All-Conference pick; first team All-Region pick and an Academic All-American. Coach Reid was also the recipient of the Champion of Character Award her Senior Year at IWC. As a high school senior at New London High School; Coach Reid was the All-Hawkeye player of the year in 2000 and a second-team All-State pick, she was also a 2nd Team All-State pick in basketball and all-conference selection in volleyball, softball and basketball all four years. Reid also competes on various outdoor and indoor co-ed and women's teams throughout the year. She resides in Burlington with her husband, Kyle.
