Zombie Walk
Run! The zombies are back!
SCC's Zombie Walk is a fun, family-friendly event held every year in Estes Park in Keokuk. Approximately 100 participants and 150 spectators attend annually.
The event is based on the philosophy that performance art is presented through an individual’s (or group's) body as a display of artistry to an audience, much like mimes. Considered performance art, zombie walks are popular every year across the country. Participants use their bodies as a canvas and perform solo or as a group.
So put on some scary make up and practice your lurch. Then come to Estes Park on Main St. in Keokuk. Registration starts one hour before the contest and the walk.

After one semester at SCC, I loved it. It had the perfect ratio of students to teachers. They spend time getting to know you as a person.
