We're on to something.
The Southeastern Community College Foundation was established in 1982 to attract, manage and disburse contributions for the support of Southeastern Community College. Areas in which assistance will be rendered include, but are not limited to:
The SCC Foundation offers an alternative to increasing taxes and tuition and gives the gift of a quality education to many who otherwise could not afford this important advantage.
The Southeastern Community College Foundation was created in 1982 to assist Southeastern Community College in carrying out its mission. The SCC Foundation is a nonprofit Iowa corporation with tax exempt status. It receives donations from a variety of sources, and provides a number of scholarships for SCC students from these gifts. The Foundation is independent of the College, and is governed by a twenty-four member Board of Directors, selected from the geographic area. Its financial records are audited annually by a CPA.
In an era of ever-shrinking resources, the Foundation Board believes that donations to the Foundation, providing support for educational opportunities to the public, are an investment in everyone's future.
For details on how to complete a tax deductible gift, contact the SCC Foundation at 319.208.5065 or send an email to brump@scciowa.edu.
