Student Success Advocate

Student Success Advocates help students at SCC be successful in their academic program. We offer services in the Student Support Centers to students in West Burlington and Keokuk. Student Success Advocates can assist in testing, disability services/accommodations, peer tutoring, and retention services. Testing Services

The Student Support Centers offer a secure environment for college placement assessments (COMPASS and COMPASS ESL), student make-up exams, and numerous other examinations required for select online and correspondence courses and professional certification programs. TRIO Programs

SCC hosts two federally-funded Trio programs that assist first-generation college students and students from income-eligible families in pursuing a post-secondary education. The programs serve eligible high school students in Burlington, Fort Madison, and Keokuk and eligible SCC students enrolled in the West Burlington campus.
