Request to Graduate Form
If you think you have completed (or will soon complete) the requirements for your program, be sure to fill out a Request to Graduate form and turn it in to the Registrar Office.  Even if you do not plan to participate in the ceremony, the Registrar needs this form completed to evaluate your record and award your degree.

Graduate List
Already filled out the Request to Graduate form? Click here to make sure we've got you on the list. Please check that your name is spelled correctly and the right award is listed as this information will be used to print your dipoma.  If you see any errors, please notify the Registrar Office right away.

Caps and Gowns
Caps, gowns, and tassels are available for pick up at each campus bookstore. These items are free of charge and yours to keep.

Rehearsal for the Keokuk ceremony will be at 8:00 AM, Wednesday, May 11th at the Grand Theatre.
Rehearsal for the West Burlington ceremony will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 12th at the Burlington Memorial Auditorium.
If you cannot attend and have specific questions, please contact the Registrar Office.

The Ceremonies
Students that completed their programs in Fall 2015, or will be completing at the end of Spring or Summer 2016 are invited to participate in the ceremony.  Information is listed below.

Disability Seating
Disability seating is limited at the Grand Theatre. Should a disabled person be attending the Keokuk ceremony, please contact Deanne (319-313-1923) so that tickets my be issued.
Disability seating at the Burlington Memorial auditorium is available on the Mezzanine level, and may be accessed by the elevator located to your right when entering the main entrance doors. Tickets are not required for this venue.

For your benefit, we have made arrangements with GradImages for a professional photographer to record the moment you are awarded your diploma. This service will enable all students to have a photo of their graduation. Families are encouraged to remain in their seats, enjoy the ceremony, and limit picture taking to before and after the presentation of diplomas. We feel that you will be satisfied with the high quality of the resulting photograph. If you have any questions regarding the photographer, GradImages can be reached at (800) 261-2576 or

Diplomas will be mailed to students approximately 4-6 weeks after the end of the semester in which they completed their program.
