Cosmetology
The Center for Business helps cosmetologists in Iowa and Illinois meet their requirements for license recertification by providing continuing education classes. We typically offer one class each fall and two classes in late winter/early spring. Cosmetologists have the opportunity choose either a 4-hour or 8-hour class option.
Upcoming cosmetology classes are listed in Options (our continuing education catalog), and flyers are sent through the mail to those on our cosmetology mailing list.

While we do our best to offer classes to help you meet your continuing education requirements, it's your to know when you are scheduled for renewal, the number of continuing education hours required by your state, how many hours you have already earned and how many you still need, and (for those with Iowa licenses) how many of your needed hours must be in Iowa law.
