Class A CDL Truck Driving

Our four week 160 hour program packs all the learning of a traditional program into a convenient, streamlined package that gets you on the road quickly. Tremendous job opportunities are available through our lifetime placement program. Learn the safe driving skills necessary to get your Class A CDL and in return receive a lucrative career with excellent pay and benefits. Classes start monthly, year round. Hours of the program are Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM. Evening and weekend hours may also be available. Fee: $3195 (includes tuition, books, DOT physical, drug screen, license & testing fees).  Tuition assistance available.

AARP Driver Safety Program

Learn to drive defensively and not be a casualty in this four hour course. Learn how to adjust your driving in response to age-related physical changes and declining perceptual skills. Rules of the road, local driving problems and safety tips are also discussed. This course is classroom-based with no driving or tests. Completion of this course may qualify you for an insurance discount-check with your agent. Cosponsored by AARP. Bring a sack lunch or go out to eat in the community. Class fee is to be paid to the instructor at the start of class.

Motorcycle Safety - Basic Rider Section

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic RiderCourse (updated) is a learn-to-ride education and training safety program that consists of the online MSF Basic eCourse to address basic motorcycle knowledge, five hours of classroom instruction with a RiderCoach to address rider perception and risk management, and 10 hours of on-cycle, hands-on instruction. A course completion card may provide an insurance discount. Riders must be able to balance a bicycle to participate in the riding portion of the course, and a riding skill test must be passed for successful completion.

Moped Safety

A certified moped course must be completed by anyone 14 or 15 years of age wishing to obtain a moped license in Iowa. Certificates will be issued to those who successfully complete the course. Students should bring a sack lunch.
