Class A CDL Training

Our four week 160 hour program packs all the learning of a traditional program into a convenient, streamlined package that gets you on the road quickly. Tremendous job opportunities are available through our lifetime placement program. Learn the safe driving skills necessary to get your Class A CDL and in return receive a lucrative career with excellent pay and benefits. Classes start monthly, year round. Hours of the program are Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM. Evening and weekend hours may also be available. Times for class are subject to change due to weather or class sizes.  Call 319-208-5382 for more information.

Fee: $3195 (includes tuition, books, DOT physical, drug screen, license & testing fees).  Tuition assistance available.

Motorcycle Safety/Basic Rider

This 20-hour Section fulfills the state of IA’s mandatory requirements for riders 16-18 years of age. It is also open for other new and experienced riders interested in learning safe riding techniques. Bring a helmet, face shield or goggles, and gloves. Wear long sleeves, long pants and leather shoes or boots that cover the ankle. Motorcycles are provided. Your book is included in the Section fee.  The class is limited to 12 students.

AARP Driver Safety Program

Learn to drive defensively and not be a casualty in this four hour course.  Learn how to adjust your driving in response to age-related physical changes and declining perceptual skills.  Rules of the road, local driving problems and safety tips are also discussed.  This course is classroom-based with no driving or tests.  Completion of this course may qualify you for an insurance discount-check with your agent.  Co-sponsored by AARP.  Bring a sack lunch or go out to eat in the community.  Class fee is to be paid to the instructor at the start of the class.
