Scholarships

Every student should consider applying for scholarships to be a high priority when planning for college. Periodically during the course of an academic year SCC's Financial Aid Office is notified of scholarships offered through third party donors such as civic organizations, churches, professional groups, and social clubs. We compile this information into a handy Scholarship Reference Guide located below. The number of scholarships located on the reference guide varies greatly depending on the time of year. Check back often to insure you're informed of the most recent scholarships additions.

ATTENTION: Students will not be allowed to utilize scholarship funds to pay for tuition and books until the funds have been delivered to SCC by the scholarship donor. Simply providing an award notification to SCC is not enough; the scholarship funds must also be provided.

Please keep in mind that the deadlines and eligibility requirements for each scholarship are not determined by SCC.
