2nd Annual Celebrity Night a Success!
(October 10, 2008) Burlington-- The Second Annual SCC Athletic Department Celebrity Night was a huge hit among the SCC Athletic Department, Southeastern Community College and the Community. The night featured a cocktail hour, dinner, live auction and keynote speaker, West Virginia Head Basketball Coach Bob Huggins.
Returning again this year was last year's keynote speaker, Charlie Spoonhauer. Coach Spoonhour introduced Coach Huggins and told stories of their coaching days. Emcee for the night was Matt Pauley, the radio voice of the Blackhawks. Also speaking were Women's Athletic Coordinator and Head Softball Coach, Melissa Navntoft and Men's Athletic Coordinator and Men's Head Basketball Coach, Terry Carroll.
