SCC Day
The next SCC Day will be in January 2009.
SCC Day is an event at the West Burlington campus which gives high school students the opportunity to visit SCC's Career Education (Voc-Tech) programs. It is held in conjuction with the SCC Winter Picnic in January, which includes FREE food and entertainment.
With seven different career areas to tour, you get to pick which one. The tours not only provide valuable information, but include demonstrations by current SCC students and faculty. And there is an added bonus for seniors - one lucky senior wins a scholarship good for one three-credit hour class at SCC to be used durning the following academic school year (scholarships are non-transferable).
This is a great opportunity to experience a fun and informative college activity.
