Take a College Class NOW!

Yes! You can take college classes while you're still in high school. They're called Concurrent Enrollment classes (CE). It sounds official but all it means is that you can take a class and get high school and college credit.
More and more high school students are enrolling every year. With a little planning and some help from your high school counselor, you can work in a bunch of college-level classes before you even graduate. It's not unheard of for some motivated high school students to graduate from high school and earn their A.A. degree from college at the same time. That's two full years of college credit - before they even graduate high school! Imagine: graduate from high school in the spring and start college in the fall as a junior. Wow!

Whether you're aiming for a B.A. at a four-year college or a two-year program right here at SCC, you have plenty to choose from. Some classes are offered at SCC, some online, and still others right at your own high school.
