Services

Photo ID's are required for all testing in the SuCCess Center. The SuCCess Center offers make-up exams as a service to our students. If you need to make-up an exam, your instructor may place your exam on file with us if they choose to do so.

Test Proctoring
A proctor may be requested for those taking a correspondence course from any institution, as well as those taking state and professional test. Call 319.752.2731 ext. 5155 to check if a fee is required for test.

TRIO - Student Support Services
Student Support Services is a federally funded program available to students attending classes at West Burlington. The following services are offered free of charge to Student Support Services participants: career exploration/development activities, academic skill assessment and preparation, academic support services, financial planning assistance, supplemental instruction, and graduation/transfer assistance.

College Credit Offerings
Both fundamental and college transfer level classes are offered through the Center in areas of math, reading, English, science and study skills.

Office Skills Center
The Office Skills Center is headed by Jana Kelly and is in a separate area of the SuCCess Center.

Those not currently enrolled in college courses may utilize the Office Skills Center by buying blocks of time at a modest fee. Students who wish to purchase blocks of time may either enroll in a specific course offering or may work with the Office Skills Center instructor to develop an individualized course of study. You may use this service to build foundation skills or to "brush-up" on essential skills before returning to the job market or school.
