SCC Softball Signs Local Recruit
SCC Head Softball Coach Melissa Navntoft signed the program's first recruit for the 2011-2012 season with a local student athlete. Erin Mickey was the first newcomer to ink with the Blackhawks for the upcoming season. Mickey is a 2011 graduate of West Burlington High School and plays under coach Dave Oleson. Mickey is an infielder for the Falcons. Coach Navntoft praised her on and off the field, "Erin is a great student and a great athlete. We are excited to have her as part of our program. To have local talent join our softball team is always exciting and we look forward to working with her."
