Student Success Advocates

You want to succeed at college. We want you to succeed, too.

What is a Student Success Advocate?

Your student success advocate will meet with you regularly during your time at SCC to ensure you're getting the most from your college experience. This includes ensuring you are on the right path, staying on path, and completing your path of education. They'll connect you with the support and resources you need to make the most of your time at SCC.

Why do I need to meet with a Student Success Advocate?

Your Student Success Advocate will help you through a number of important processes.

They'll help you:

  • Register for the classes you need
  • Connect with free resources within the college
  • Tackle social and personal challenges
  • Learn about community resources
  • Determine how to transfer on after SCC
