SCC Hosts ESPN Analyst at Celebrity Night

West Burlington – The Blackhawk Booster Club of Southeastern Community College will host its annual fundraiser on November 8 at the Pzazz! Convention Center.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour, during which attendees can peruse the silent auction items. Dinner will follow at 6:30 p.m. with a high-spirited live auction beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The evening will top off with a presentation by Fran Fraschilla. Fraschilla was a men’s college basketball coach from 1992 to 1998. Since 2007, he has been a regular fixture on ESPN as a college basketball analyst for both women’s and men’s basketball.

“The evening is a catalyst for our basketball season,” Athletic Director Tyler Gaston says. “As always, the booster club has worked hard to put this together and chose Fran Fraschilla to really pump southeast Iowa up for our upcoming season.”

Funds raised at the event primarily go towards athletic scholarships.

Tickets cost $50 in advance and $60 the day of the event. VIP tables seating eight people are available for $600.
