SCC Welcomes Zombie Takeover of Keokuk October 11

The SCC Keokuk Campus Drama Club will host its Annual Zombie Walk on Friday, October 11. Registration is free and starts at 5 p.m. The contest begins at 6 p.m. with the walk to follow at Estes Park on Fifth and Main Street in Keokuk.

Participants will walk from the south side of Main from Fifth to Eighth Street, then cross to return to Estes Park via the north side of Main.

Event coordinator and SCC professor Jodi Cook says this event has become a tradition for many area residents and families.

"The participants amaze me every year with their creativity and talent," Cook says. "We love seeing so many people from the community come out to watch the contestants. The event is fun for all ages."
