"It's exciting to have area students who enjoy science spend the day with us," Executive
Director for Institutional Advancement Becky Rump says. "We're happy to have the opportunity
to show our new facilities to students who are exploring their interests in science."
Rump says with SCC science faculty have been involved with planning the event.
After a keynote address inspiring the students to continue growing in their scientific endeavors, attendees will have lunch with SCC science faculty.
"We're eager to connect the students with our faculty. It's a great opportunity for students to talk about their interests," says Enrollment Coordinator Dana Chrisman. "We are hopeful that the students leave campus that day feeling like we've supported their exploration in scientific studies, introduced them to our cutting-edge technology, and celebrated their hard work to participate in the Science Fair. It will be a fun day for everyone."
