SCC Celebrates National Poetry Month with Rita Mae Reese
Southeastern Community College will celebrate April as National Poetry Month by hosting a Visiting Writers Series event on Saturday, April 20, at 8:00 p.m. Rita Mae Reese, a nationally acclaimed and award-winning author, is scheduled to read. SCC's Culture on Campus Committee and Di Dante Literature & Writing Club will co-host the event.
SCC Hosts Skills Throw Down for High School Students
On Friday, April 12, Southeastern Community College will host the Southeast Iowa Skills Throwdown. Nearly 90 area high school students will compete for top honors in categories including auto tech, carpentry, welding, and computer-aided design (CAD).
Annual SCC Great Tastes Fundraiser Set for Friday, April 12
The annual Southeastern Community College (SCC) Foundation Great Tastes event is scheduled for Friday, April 12, 2019, at the PZAZZ! Entertainment Complex in Burlington, Iowa. The benefit begins at 6 p.m with the live auction starting at 7:30 p.m.
SCC Takes Audience Into the Woods
SCC music and drama students will perform the musical Into the Woods at the Burlington Capitol Theater on March 29 and 30 at 7 p.m.
