Tutors are available to help you with math, reading, writing and more.
The Academic Achievement Center offers FREE tutoring in most subjects for all SCC students.
Professional Tutors are available on a walk-in basis during the scheduled open hours.

Peer tutors are available in most subjects. Students must fill out a request form. Forms can be picked up and turned in to the AAC. Currently, we have peer tutors available in the following subjects:
WEST BURLINGTON: A&P I, A&P II, Networking, ESL Chemistry, Microeconomics
KEOKUK: A&P I, A&P II, Nursing, Intro to Biology
Preparing for a Tutoring Session
Students should prepare for tutoring sessions with by bringing the course textbook, class notes, quizzes or tests that have been graded and returned by the instructor, course syllabus, and the class assignment.
In addition to in-person assistance, many resources are available online to assist students in achieving academic success. Staff can provide tips and support for using these resources.
