How can I get a tutor?

The Academic Achievement Center (AAC) offers FREE Peer Tutoring to SCC students. Peer Tutor request forms may be found in the Academic Achievement Center or downloaded from the link below. Return the completed form along with a copy of your current class schedule to the Academic Achievement Center.

The Peer Tutoring program provides additional academic assistance to students in the West Burlington (Room 206A/B) and Keokuk (Room 311) locations. We encourage any student to seek support to reach their academic goals. While we strive to match all student requests for tutoring, we cannot guarantee 100% placement.

How can I become a peer tutor?

Applications to become a tutor can be found in the Academic Achievement Center or downloaded from the link below. Peer Tutor salary is based on the college work study pay schedule. Hours are flexible and arranged around your schedule.

Apply to be a peer tutor and gain valuable leadership experience. Peer tutoring applications will be reviewed by the peer tutor coordinator, and you will be contacted for an interview.
