Agriculture
Whether you're thinking about a degree in Agriculture Production or Precision Agriculture
- or just want to explore agricultural studies at the college level - these courses
can help you! Hands-on instruction insures that students are well-equipped with the

Automotive Technology
In this academy you'll learn the basic skills needed to service and maintain today's
sophisticated autos. Program courses are aligned with the National Institute of Automotive
Service Excellence, the National Automotive Technician Education Foundation and Automotive
Service Excellence (ASE) standards.

Construction Technology
The field of construction is broad and rewarding and students can get a jump start
on college, career, or apprenticeship by successfully completing courses in this academy
program. The Southeast Iowa Builder's Association is an active partner with area high
schools and SCC to provide input to this program, insuring a current curriculum meeting
the needs of local employers. Hands-on experience provides students with "real world"
learning.

Graphic Communication
Organizations, large and small, are looking for talented, skilled people in the pre-press/pre-media
field as graphic artists, web designers, production artists, or marketing specialists.
Courses in this academy will prepare you for numerous opportunities across a broad
range of visual communications careers.

Health Sciences
These academic courses give you a close-up view of the field of health. In your first
course, you'll learn the basic expectations of a heath care of classwork and assisting
with patient care. When you successfully complete this CNA course, you will be eligible
to take the Nurse Aid certification test.
Students must have a current physical, a Hepatitis B vaccination and are required
to purchase "scrubs".
