Dining Services

West Burlington campus offers cafeteria service at the Blackhawk Bistro in the 400 building. During the traditional semester, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served Monday through Friday, and brunch is offered Saturday and Sunday.

Hours of operation on Saturday and Sundays are 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

During the summer, the Blackhawk Bistro is open 8:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m., serving breakfast and lunch. The required board plan for students in our residence halls offer a choice of 14, 17, or 19 meals per week, paid by semester.

Meal block plans (10, 25, 50 meals) are also available for all other students, and for faculty and staff. On-campus catering is available by arrangement.

Keokuk campus offers a cafeteria in Barr-Wittenmeyer Hall with lunch served Monday through Friday during the fall and spring semester. Hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. On-campus catering is available by arrangement.

Vending machines are available year-round on both campuses.

Childcare Assistance

Childcare services are available for the children of college students and staff. Caring for children age 5 weeks to 5 years, Kiddie Campus is a childcare service located on SCC's West Burlington campus. It serves the students, faculty, and staff as well as the public. The hours are 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Kiddie Campus is managed by the YMCA.
