John Schulz graduated from SCC in 1963 after serving in the Army National Guard.

After earning his BA at Iowa State and MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH, he began his career at General Motors in Dayton, OH. While at GM, he was on the team that created the first-ever driver safety airbag.

Schulz spent much of his career at JI Case where he rose through the ranks to become vice president of worldwide construction equipment engineering, traveling the world to monitor various Case engineering groups.

"If I had my life to do over again," he says, "SCC would definitely be one of the things I'd want to make sure I did."
