What is KT Pro?
KT Pro in an advanced career focused learning workshops for students grades 8 - 11.
These are six hour workshops held during the academic school year and meet on Saturday
mornings from 9 am - noon. Workshops include hands-on learning as well as the opportunity
to learn from industry professionals from regional companies.
What is the Kidtek U Camp format?
Camps are Monday - Friday for three hours either morning or afternoon. Morning camps
take place from 9am - noon and afternoon camps take place from 1 - 4pm.
How much does a Kidtek U Camp cost?
Each week of camp costs $179 per student.
How can I register my child for camp?
You can register your child by phone (319) 208-5375, online, or in person.
Does my child receive a T-Shirt?
Each camp participant will receive a FREE t-shirt if they are registered and complete
the student information form by May 22nd.
What is the Student Information Sheet?
The Student Information Sheet will be sent to you following the processing of your
registration. This form is required before your child can attend the camps. The
form requests student information, emergency contact information, photo agreement,
and the t-shirt size your child would like.
What time can I drop my child off at camp and what time do I need to have them picked
up?
Students must be dropped off no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start time and
must be picked up no later than 15 minutes after end time. Parents will be responsible
for their child outside of these hours.
How should my student dress for the camps?
For safety of campers, shirts with sleeves must be worn (no tank tops). No jewelry
is allowed. Clothing that is negative towards the school or school district, promotes
the use of alcohol or drugs, is profane, racially biased or offensive in language/pictures,
relates to gang activity or colors, or includes sexually inappropriate references
may not be worn. No open-toe shoes or house slippers are allowed. Safety glasses will
be provided by instructors in certain classes and must be worn during class.
What if I need to cancel our registration?
If you notify CBIZ in writing at least two weeks advance of scheduled changes, you
will receive tuition reimbursement. If you do not notify the CBIZ office two weeks
prior to the camp full tuition will be charged whether or not the child attends.
