SCC provides housing and food service opportunities for all students, both on and off campus. Check out our available options to find what suits your needs.

Residence hall rooms are air conditioned and furnished with a twin XL bed, desk and chair, chest of drawers, closet, window covering, and Wi-Fi.

Room rates are based on the number of occupants and amenities in each room, with additional costs for a shared/ private/single room. 

All room rates include heat, electricity, air conditioning, water, and Wi-Fi. 

Laundry facilities are available. Cost is $1.75 to wash and $1.50 to dry per load.

Rates quoted below are per semester.

A one-time deposit of $300 is required when applying for a residence hall room.

Students pay for housing and dining through their personal financing, scholarships, Nelnet or other types of loans. Charges are placed on bills at the beginning of each semester.

West Burlington Campus Meal Plan

Resident students on the West Burlington campus are required to maintain a dining services meal plan. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Monday through Friday; brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday.

All West Burlington campus housing residents are required to purchase a meal plan.

19 meals/week $1,720/semester

Dining hours –

Monday – Friday Breakfast – 7:30 am-9 am

Monday – Friday Lunch - 11:15 am-1:15 pm

Monday- Friday Dinner – 5 pm-7 pm

Saturday/Sunday Brunch – 11:30 am-1 pm

Saturday/Sunday Dinner – 5 pm-6 pm

Your financial future is very important, so be sure to prepare yourself.  Have you completed your FAFSA through Financial Aid? Set up a payment plan with Nelnet?  You must be able to communicate your financial plan within thirty days after the first day of the semester.
