SCC Alumni Association Golf Outing set for Friday, July 21 at Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course

The annual SCC Alumni Association Golf Outing is set for Friday, July 21 at Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course with a shot-gun start at 12:30 p.m. The event includes free beverages, gifts for every golfer, games, prizes, dinner, Birdies for Charity pledges, and a raffle.

The popular outing is the biggest fundraiser for the SCC Alumni Association. Event proceeds provide for $1,000 scholarships to two graduating SCC students, two $500 continuation scholarships to returning sophomores, and $3,000 in mini-grants to support instructional programs. Funds also support Distinguished Alumni events and commemorative plaques.

Entry fee is $75 per golfer or $500 for a sponsored 4-member team.

Sponsorship opportunities include $250 hole sponsorships which allow a game or product demonstration or give away at the hole, and $100 flag sponsorships.  Also available are $2,000 major event sponsorship, a $1,000 score card sponsorship, a $750 golf cart sponsorship, and $250 beverage cart co-sponsorships.

Gift donations are gratefully received for raffle prizes. All donations and sponsorships are listed in a printed program and on the college’s website.

The rain date is August 4.
