Make education accessible and affordableWe award over $300,000 to more than 500 students every year Offer scholarships for all types of students based on: merit, need, age, programs, ethnicity, and more |
Provide high quality, relevant education and trainingWe invest in programs and facilities including new construction and purchase of modern teaching equipment for SCC programs such as health, industrial technology, STEM fields, fine arts We provide mini-grants to faculty and staff to meet smaller, targeted needs to improve the student learning experience |
Strengthen our communityOur efforts serve as an alternate funding source available to SCC that avoids increasing student tuition and raising property taxes Connect students and employers - more than 80% of SCC grads find jobs locally Ensure that SCC remains an economic engine - SCC and student spending adds $50 million to the region's economy |
