SCC Foundation

Four smiling graduates

Our students and SCC community extend our gratitude for your donations that made scholarships for the class of 2020-2021 possible. We typically hold a reception to recognize your generosity and connect you with the students who you've impacted.

With continued efforts to keep everybody's health and safety in mind, we have cancelled this year's scholarship reception.

Thank you very much for supporting our students. We look forward to meeting again!

Efforts by the SCC Foundation to achieve our mission:

Scholarships & grants

Make education accessible and affordable

We award over $300,000 to more than 500 students every year

Offer scholarships for all types of students based on: merit, need, age, programs, ethnicity, and more

Respiratory students care for Sim Junior

Provide high quality, relevant education and training

We invest in programs and facilities including new construction and purchase of modern teaching equipment for SCC programs such as health, industrial technology, STEM fields, fine arts

We provide mini-grants to faculty and staff to meet smaller, targeted needs to improve the student learning experience

Scholarships & grants

Strengthen our community

Our efforts serve as an alternate funding source available to SCC that avoids increasing student tuition and raising property taxes

Connect students and employers - more than 80% of SCC grads find jobs locally

Ensure that SCC remains an economic engine - SCC and student spending adds $50 million to the region's economy
