Partnership Opportunities

Career Services highly values business partnerships. We offer assistance in a variety of ways.

  • Recruitment Tables: Employers are welcome to host recruitment tables at both Keokuk and West Burlington campuses.
  • Classroom Visits: Visit with some of our first or second-year students for undivided attention.
  • Host Lunch and Learns: Provide opportunities for informal learning and networking.
  • Set Up Interviews on Campus: We facilitate on-campus interviews to connect students with potential employers
  • Providing Information Sessions: We can assist with organized sessions to share valuable insights and resources with students and faculty.

Recruit SCC students with a tailored experience with Director of CTE Career Services Rachel Boyd.

Hire a Blackhawk/Handshake

The best way to build your brand on campus and recruit SCC students and recent graduates is to make your job postings available through our SCC Handshake account. Handshake is a nation-wide platform designed to connect students with jobs that fit their qualifications.

Getting Started

Visit scciowa.joinhandshake.com to set up your account.

  1. Create an Account
  2. Fill out company information and add logo under the "Company Profile". (This is what the Students will be seeing when they view your job postings), and then you can start connecting with students.

SCC Events

We have many planned events throughout the year.

Check out some dates here and we hope to see you there!
