Apply Early!

Preference in awarding certain grants is given in order of which they are completed.

All financial aid all starts with the FAFSA.

Visit Apply for Aid for info and how to get started. 

1. Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). SCC's school code 004603. Visit FAFSA Help for more instructions.
2. Once SCC receives your information from the Department of Education, we will send you an email to your college email address on Hawknet. It will have next steps for you and ask for any documents we need to complete your financial aid file. You may need to complete one of the forms below. 
3. After you provide the needed documents, we'll send you an email (Hawknet) letting you know that your financial aid offer is ready to be viewed in Self-Service.

When you download a form, be sure to select the form corresponding to the award year (school year) for which you're applying for aid.

IMPORTANT: We cannot accept forms attached to an email. Upload your form via Hawknet's Self-Service page or mail them to the address on the form.
