Way to go for choosing to get a Jumpstart on your college education at Southeastern Community College. Concurrent enrollment is an excellent opportunity for you to prepare for future career and college success. You're in good company as you are on your way to joining other local high school students that have joined the Blackhawk family.
This info session will walk you through some important information and processes you need to know to be prepared to start your college courses. College coursework will be more difficult than what you have experienced in high school. Responsibility and time management play a large role in your success.
Here are a few tips to help you succeed:
WHO’S MY ADVOCATE? Each high school has an assigned SCC student success advocate that works with concurrent enrollment students.
CHECK EMAIL & ASK FOR HELP! All the important steps and processes you need to know to manage your student experience have a technology or web component.
COURSE SCHEDULE: Find out how to locate your schedule on self service
BOOKSTORE: Learn about bookstore location and when you can go to the bookstore
UNDERSTAND FERPA & FAQs: As a college student, you have rights and responsibilities. We outline much of that here as well as provide info to some of the most common questions.
Once you finish viewing these pages, you'll be prompted to complete the Information for Concurrent Enrollment info form.
