Emergency & Safety Information
In an emergency, first call 911.
Then call campus security at (319) 759-1727
When calling 911, provide building number, room number and nearest entrance.
If there’s a campus emergency or severe weather event, SCC will sound an alarm or make an announcement to keep you informed.
We ask all students and staff to review these plans when needed, so you know what to do if something happens. Emergency exits are clearly marked, and each building shows where to go during storms.
Staying safe is a team effort. The more you know, the better prepared we all are.
Each tab includes info specific to that topic. We encourage all students and employees to take a few minutes to read through each one.
