The two tools you'll use most to conduct the business of being a student at SCC: your student email account and Hawknet.

SCC email account

Before you can do much of anything as an SCC student, you need an SCC email account. Not only is your email account for sending and receiving emails, it serves as your username for access to SCC's digital resources.

Your Hawknet and student email accounts will be created after you submit your pre-enrollment form at the end of this info session.

You will then receive information about registration, financial aid, tuition due, drop/refund deadlines, as well as communication from faculty, grade notifications and other important announcements.

Pro tip! Thinking about purchasing a new computer to use for classes? Visit with your student success advocate to find out if your academic program has specific computer technology needs.
