Automotive Technology
Turn your passion for cars into a career that you can take anywhere. Dealerships, independent shops, and fleet managers need skilled technicians to keep vehicles running at top performance. Students in the Automotive Technology Academy learn a broad base of foundational skills they'll need before advancing to learn the inner-workings of more advanced automotive systems.

Classes are held on the West Burlington campus.
How long does it take?
Academy length is one school year. Students take one class per semester.
How many college credits can I earn?
Students who complete this academy will earn 11 hours of college credit that can transfer to SCC's automotive technology program.
What can I do after high school?
Students who complete this academy can trim nearly one full year off their progress to their AAS degree.
Once they complete the degree program, students will also earn a specialized Toyota Elite technician certificate.
